Our mission is to provide professional, brief counseling to individuals, couples, families, groups, churches, and the local community. We seek to promote balance among body, mind, and spirit and to assist each individual to mature, renew their mind, and live more fully into their own spiritual beliefs.
We are licensed, professional social workers. We feel it is important to meet our clients where they are at in order to provide the best services and outcomes. We serve all clients and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or religion.
Social Work- The primary mission of the social work profession is to enhance human well-being and help meet the complex needs of all people, with a particular focus on those who are most vulnerable. Social work is different from other helping professions because we focus both on the person and their environment. This includes internal and external factors that impact a person’s situation and outlook. Social workers help clients deal not only with how they feel about a situation but also with what they can do about it.
Christian Counseling- Christian counseling seeks to use methods and values that are clearly consistent with Scripture. Christian counselors seek to be led by the Holy Spirit and guided by the word of God. Clients are encouraged to live in accordance with biblical guidelines, to develop a deeper knowledge of God, to become disciples of Jesus Christ, and to understand their struggles in light of Bible teachings.
